چکیده

In this note we address the problem of graph isomorphism by means of eigenvalue spectra of different matrix representations: the neighborhood matrix M̂ , its corresponding signless Laplacian QM̂ , and the set of higher order adjacency matrices M`s. We find that, in relation to graphs with at most 10 vertices, QM̂ leads to better results than the signless Laplacian Q; besides, when combined with M̂ , it even surpasses the Godsil and McKay switching method.

COSPECTRALITY MEASURES OF GRAPHS WITH AT MOST SIX VERTICES

Cospectrality of two graphs measures the differences between the ordered spectrum of these graphs in various ways. Actually, the origin of this concept came back to Richard Brualdi's problems that are proposed in cite{braldi}: Let $G_n$ and $G'_n$ be two nonisomorphic simple graphs on $n$ vertices with spectra$$lambda_1 geq lambda_2 geq cdots geq lambda_n ;;;text{and};;; lambda'_1 geq lambda'_2...

On common neighborhood graphs II

Let G be a simple graph with vertex set V (G). The common neighborhood graph or congraph of G, denoted by con(G), is a graph with vertex set V (G), in which two vertices are adjacent if and only if they have at least one common neighbor in G. We compute the congraphs of some composite graphs. Using these results, the congraphs of several special graphs are determined.

Graphs cospectral with starlike trees

A tree which has exactly one vertex of degree greater than two is said to be starlike. In spite of seemingly simple structure of these trees, not much is known about their spectral properties. In this paper, we introduce a generalization of the notion of cospectrality called m-cospectrality which turns out to be useful in constructing cospectral graphs. Based on this, we construct cospectral ma...

In this paper, we compute the common neighborhood of some composite graphs. In continue, we investigate the relation between hamiltoni...

Characteristics of Common Neighborhood Graph under Graph Operations and on Cayley Graphs

Let G(V;E) be a graph. The common neighborhood graph (congraph) of G is a graph with vertex set V , in which two vertices are adjacent if and only if they have a common neighbor in G. In this paper, we obtain characteristics of congraphs under graph operations; Graph :::::union:::::, Graph cartesian product, Graph tensor product, and Graph join, and relations between Cayley graphs and its c...
